Senior Associate

Kellye M. Miller, Esq. is a Senior Associate leading the firm’s Intellectual Property Group bringing more than 7 years of experience in business and creative branding.  Licensed in New Jersey with New York admission pending, Kellye practices in the areas of sports and entertainment law, brand management, business development, and the nonprofit sector.  She has particular expertise working with content creators in the art, entertainment, and technology sectors and specializes in registering and prosecuting intellectual property, privacy rights counseling and licensing, contract administration, mobile app development and protection, and entrepreneurial advisement.

With a background rooted in social justice, Kellye spent two years with the Marshall-Brennan Constitutional Literacy Project, a national civics education initiative working with teachers, administrators and lawyers where she taught courses in constitutional law, juvenile justice and oral advocacy.  As a teaching Fellow and as an Advisor, Kellye focused on cultivating high school students’ awareness of their rights and familiarity with the nature of our country’s civic community, as well as instruction around the fundamentals of oral argument and legal reasoning. 

Kellye also participated in legal research in South Africa, working with a team of attorneys to submit several amicus briefs in human rights litigation to the Constitutional Court of South Africa, meeting with several justices of the court in Johannesburg while there.

With this penchant for research and strategy development, Kellye has worked to protect her clients’ rights – effectively halting infringing and fraudulent behavior on various occasions.  Kellye has practiced in both state and federal courts (D.N.J and S.D.N.Y) as well as in front of the TTAB.  What she offers is not just legal expertise, but cultivates a global view of your business and brand.
